Classic lines: Manson's lyrics
Classic scenes: vomit for fuel driving, and finally DANCE FIGHT.

"Gamer" has the tone of Li Guohao's version of "The Crow": dark, alternative tone, relatively clichéd storyline and sharp sense of picture coexist in one film in a harmonious and harmonious way. If you want to find a similar case from recent genre films, "Shoot'em up" by the tough guy Irving should be the closest example to texture. He is also a tough guy with a few surprises, but he also has the problem of form for the sake of form. But anyway, as a CULT genre film, from the perspective of male vision, this film looks really enjoyable. Of course, the premise is that you have to turn off the power of your head first, and there are organs responsible for adrenaline secretion. , Watching this film is enough. I don't know if girls are uncomfortable watching, but I think that "traditional" girls may not be too comfortable regardless of which Lionsgate movie they watch. (The films from Lionsgate: "Saw Terror", "House of Thousand Corpses", "An Eye Behind the Mountain"...)
The story of the whole film is actually one sentence: a tough guy like a gladiator with a steely will and physique , With the help of other partners with a sense of justice, defeated the crazy entrepreneurs who tried to control people’s thoughts with games (sounds like a passionate story...) "All the songs are sung. Although I can't bear the ghostly style of Manson, I can't deny that the lyrics of "Sweet Dreams" are used to describe this increasingly crazy society. The original lyrics are now attached, so get a feel for it.

Sweet dreams are made of this
Who am I to disagree?
Travel the world and the seven seas
Everybody's looking for something
Some of them want to use you
Some of them want to get used by you
Some of them want to abuse you
Some of them want to be abused

Sweet dreams are made of this
Who am I to disagree?
Travel the world and the seven seas
Everybody's looking for something

Some of them want to use you
Some of them want to get used by you
Some of them want to abuse you
Some of them want to be abused!

I wanna use you and abuse you
I wanna know what's inside you

Movin' on
Hold your head up
Movin' on
Keep your head up
Movin' on!

Sweet dreams are made of this
Who am I to disagree?
Travel the world and the seven seas
Everybody's looking for something

Some of them want to use you
Some of them want to get used by you
Some of them want to abuse you
Some of them want to be abused

I'm gonna use you and abuse you
I'm gonna know what's inside
Gonna use you and abuse you
I'm gonna know what's inside you

Since "Live Game" starts with such a song, it has already set out its dark position in the end of the world. Those corrupt video games in the film that have been upgraded to the live-action version are definitely "electronic heroin". The question is if the real world is worse, ugly, and hopeless than the game world, can you say that those who choose to escape to the electronic world are at fault? Forget it, don't discuss this heavy topic when discussing this CULT film. Since the director does not intend to discuss it, it means that few people care about it.
I really like the two sections in the film. One is that the protagonist Kabel drank a bottle of spirits, then found a broken car that was out of gas and spit it into the gas tank, poured urine on it, and started the car and began to flee. This is so cool. This way of escape is probably only available in Lionsgate films. In addition, the scene in which Caso took the mercenary brawny men dancing while fighting with Kabel in the villain Caso’s home was unusual to a fascinating level. I think the main creator must have seen Master Xing's "Kung Fu" in order to have this kind of evil and wonderful creativity. Or maybe, when the lead writer was writing the script, MJ's "Let's do this first" is currently in theaters?
