Please don't forget the power of anger

We grew up with a history of how to overthrow feudal dynasties, how blacks went from being trafficked to fighting for independence, but almost never how women fought for their rights and equality.

In Britain a hundred years ago, women did not have the right to vote in politics. They were considered irrational and could not make any correct decisions. At work, they paid more hours for capitalists, endured more difficult working conditions, and got paid But far lower than male workers (after the compromise of patriarchy and capitalism, women entered productive labor, but with the double oppression of production and reproduction); in life their money is controlled by their husbands, in the era of the story , they don't even have the right to their own children, husbands can decide what to do with their wives and children. The pioneers of the feminist movement suffered systematic damage in the movement, including not only the suppression and intimidation of those in power, but also the incomprehension and abandonment of the people around them, and even the cost of their lives - all of which were just to fight for their lives. The most basic rights for half of humanity on earth.

What about now in a hundred years? Certainly there have been improvements in many places. But as long as we pay a little attention, unequal pay for equal work between men and women, gender discrimination in employment and education, gender-based violence and crimes against women, and the laws and institutions that are often absent from these crimes remind us all the time that women’s rights pioneers The world of equality we seek is far from here.

No one expects violence and bloodshed, but if the cry of peace doesn't get the rights women deserve as a person, at least don't forget that you also have the power of anger. Don't blame those who choose to be angry and act because they have no choice because they are fighting for more women 100 years from now.
