Just a personal idea

repressed. At one point, I had the urge to cry, but not a single tear could flow out. I felt that there was no water in my body, and my heart sank.

There are so many beautiful things about composition, art, etc., but these are not worth mentioning in front of the story. There are a few camera movements that make me look a little baffling, and I don't know why the camera moves like that here. What I remember most is the two sitting there in the dining room with all yellow tables and chairs. The camera moved after the conversation between the two, and it was unclear why. For the first time, the scene of the woman talking with the cleaner in the stairwell was all close-up, and the positional relationship of several characters could not be clearly seen.

In terms of editing, there are a few places where the difference between the front and rear mirrors is very large, giving people a strange feeling of being caught off guard. Maybe it's the so-called "remind the audience that you are watching a movie".

Tell the story at the end. Exclusion, exclusion, people who live only for their own interests, discrimination...even these happen among family members. Looking at it makes me feel cold. It's not a tragedy, it's not grand, it's not even a strong emotional collision. But the perspective and its realism terrified me. Fear eats up the soul, that is, those who have fear in their hearts have no soul. The absence of a soul means that man is an empty body. Only the body and the skin, nothing else. It is also equivalent to a person being dead. Those who are controlled by fear are dead.

Those who are kind but unpopular, the groups gathered because of jealousy, those who gossip behind their backs, and those who will die if they don't gossip, these are not mentioned for the time being. There are two things that frighten me the most and feel subverted.

First, the heroine thought that after escaping for a period of time and then coming back, everything would get better, but when she came back, she faced all the people who pretended to be good to her for her own benefit. These people include the commissary owner, neighbors, colleagues, and even sons. This is undoubtedly the most feared situation I have ever thought about. When I always treat people with sincerity, I cannot guarantee that sincerity can be exchanged for sincerity. Therefore, it has become very necessary to properly give my sincerity in order to protect myself, which makes me feel regretful and uncomfortable. This is fear.

Second, the dialogue between the two of them dancing in the bar towards the end gave me a full sense of subversion.

Is she talking about the ideal state, or is she thinking too far ahead for me to even understand? Her words made me wonder, if that's all right, then loyalty. The so-called loyalty may be a joke? The sense of subversion then invaded. I think I can't accept it. If it is said that human nature is like this, then is the loyalty in the emotions promoted by this society an inappropriate requirement?

Maybe she just thinks he is too precious, even so she can accept it, she just wants him back? This is unknown.

The movie ends in an inconclusive scene, like many movies without a close ending. I thought of what I read when I wrote fyp, and this ending enhances the literary nature of the film. The thoughts brought to the audience are very rich.

It's also hopeless, like other inconclusive films. What will their lives be like? Nobody knows.

People group together, nothing more than to quarrel with the enemy or to crowd out together, which is essentially due to the inferiority of human beings. Fear comes from human indifference, and social class, race, color, and skin color can naturally delineate different groups. Even as an individual who has little traction with the group, once it is rejected, the soul will be in panic all day long. Interestingly, Fassbender broke up with Ali's actor after filming the film, which is really a reality [fear eats the soul].

The high saturation color with the lonely light and shadow is like Edward Hopper's Nighthawks. I don't know if Amy, as a mainstream member, broke into the world of Ali, a marginalized person, and became a dissident, or if Ali, as a foreigner, integrated into Amy's mainstream ethnic group and became a pig, the point of view of the interaction between groups and groups through their own colored glasses. Always so closed and suffocating, fear devours you and me, and fear engulfs the soul.
