Watching the full movie in a hurry last night, to be honest, I was a little tired. Or a little disappointed, because the movie could have been better. The best thing about the whole movie is the acting, no joke. Whether it's Tahar or Jodie, any nominations or awards are well deserved (of course, the Oscars have always been unkind to Muslim actors). BC can be regarded as a stable performance, but the role is basically reduced to a tool person, and there is no place to shine and room to play. Xie Lin is even worse, her character has almost no sense of existence... The cinematography of the film, especially the middle part, can be seen to be quite good. The tricks used are also very good. The torture, interrogation and other scenes are all in a 1:1 aspect ratio, creating a grainy feeling. There is also the oppression and crampedness presented by photography, which is well done.
