You said good morning, no one answered

the word good morning very wonderfully. It always gives people inexplicable hope and happiness, it announces that you have opened your eyes and ushered in a new day, and it also proves that someone has given you care and love.
Adrian said, it is my mark.
Since the facts that can be reported are not painful, why do you still have to be boring seriously.

In the first half of the movie, watching Adrian chasing a girl, I still sneered at him. Heh, what is the difference between this and the old foreign rascals who touched girls' thighs in bars.
But then suddenly discovered that the feelings of regret with the sister did not seem to be the subject, and the friendship between Adrian and the younger brother took up a larger space.
So following Adrian, you see this country: there are crowded fireworks in the city, there are disturbed lives under the appearance of calm, there are meek but firm-eyed people, there are long summers, and the eyes are full of lush green.
There are bombs and blood.
When the conflicting scenes of war and confrontation flashed by, all the original sound was eliminated, and the background sound was a long song, sang: "What a wonderful world."
This world is so fucking beautiful.

Adrian said every day, "Good morning! Vietnam!" But his audience was not Vietnam, but soldiers who left their homeland to fight without knowing it.
Many people came inexplicably, stayed inexplicably, and Mo Min left inexplicably. Standing or lying down.

During the rollover, I originally thought that if the final outcome is that two Americans died there, and the telegram that announced the death was crossed out as always, it was also a strong expression.
However, the director buried a more complicated line.
The American looked at the Vietnamese brother incredulously: "We are helping you!" In
return, the Vietnamese complained and burst into tears.

The Americans were finally forced to leave.
Adrian's broadcast last paragraph says: "There is no other place like home, and you can be there ...... I hope we all could."
Where are not good at home, he said, better yet, you can stay at home . I hope we can all be well at home.
The Americans returned to their homes, and the Vietnamese regained their homes.

He yelled every day: "Good morning! Vietnam!"
No one answered him "Good morning". But he probably has some answers.
Goodbye, Vietnam.
I hope that when we meet next time, our hands are clean, you will no longer avoid it, and I will not be hoarse.

Good Morning, Vietnam quotes

  • Edward Garlick: [to Cronauer as they arrive at Jimmy Wah's] We're here, sir... Jimmy Wah's.

[they exit the Jeep and enter]

Edward Garlick: This is the place where we like to hang out, sir.

Adrian Cronauer: Real homey... in an opium kind of way.

Edward Garlick: [as Jimmy spots them] That's Jimmy Wah. He owns the place.

Jimmy Wah: Hi! Hi! Hi! Hi!

    [to Cronauer]

Jimmy Wah: Now you say hi to me then you smile!

[both smile and say hi weakly]

Jimmy Wah: And you two Earl want a couple beer?

Edward Garlick: We'd love a couple beers, Jimmy.

[Jimmy waves them to a table]

Adrian Cronauer: Why are our names Earl?

Edward Garlick: He calls everybody Earl.

Adrian Cronauer: [they sit down] Is it me, or is Jimmy light in the loafers?

Edward Garlick: Let me put it to you this way. He's got this thing for Walter Brennan. He says he wants to buy naked photographs of the actor? For three years, he's been trying.

  • Jimmy Wah: [Jimmy brings Cronauer and Garlick their beers] There your beer!

    Edward Garlick: Thank you Jimmy.

Jimmy Wah: [discreetly] Any movement on the Walter Brennan thing?

Edward Garlick: No... and it doesn't look good, Jimmy.

Jimmy Wah: He look good to me!
