A western film with a compact plot and a successful multi-character creation ~ worth watching

Is a happy ending a romantic peculiar to Western movies? The Knight and the Beauty live happily together ever after~ This is the first Western I've ever watched. Except for stopping at the inn to rest and be full, I spend the rest of the time on the road in the mountains. The most exciting thing is the characters on the carriage. Doc, who likes to drink, seems to be indecent, but is actually highly skilled in medicine, escaped from prison to avenge his family but does not forget the beauty of the world, a prostitute with a low status but a soft and kind heart, a pregnant but brave and tenacious officer's wife, very timid but very timid. A benevolent priest, a gambler from a fallen aristocracy, a wise and chivalrous sheriff, a grumpy and inhumane "banker", a silly coachman... They have different identities, but they all run towards the same a destination. Disagreements arose in the process, but kindness and justice always triumphed. The final ending can be reversed in just thirty seconds! While the audience was worried about Kid's future and his well-being with Dallas, the Sheriff let Kid go! It also puts the audience into imagining what a beautiful paradise-like life they will live on the farm~

  • Dr. Josiah Boone: Well, now that the danger is past, Mr...

    Samuel Peacock: ...Peacock.

Dr. Josiah Boone: Ladies and gentlemen, since it's most unlikely we'll ever have the pleasure of meeting again socially, I'd like to propose a toast. Major, Gatewood, Ringo... to your health.
