the silence of death

4.5. After hesitating, give this horror movie a 4.5. First of all, it was because I strictly guarded against it that I didn't get a little spoiler, and the reversal at the end was shocked. Second, because Wen Ziren has won glory for the Chinese community, I don't like "The Chainsaw" directed by him, because it is a thriller, not a horror. (Of course, there are many other reasons to give this film four stars.) Wen Ziren maximized the "uncanny valley effect" in this film. Hundreds of dolls suddenly began to turn as if they were alive. - How would you feel if you were there? The male protagonist's home town, like a bunch of withered roses, no longer has the former prosperity. When he came to the theater in the Lost Lake, I especially liked the apocalyptic feeling of ruins. The hero is alone from beginning to end. Although he had a wife at the beginning, he died tragically and returned to his hometown because of this incident. When the male protagonist drove to the cemetery to bury the doll in the middle of the night, I really wanted to complain why he didn't call a few people during the day? Maybe it's because he doesn't have friends, or something else. But I was scared of that scene because it was unknown.

The film is short and compact. The horror atmosphere is created very well, and it is the type that cannot be spoiled. Wen Ziren is really handy when shooting horror movies. The soundtracks of horror movies that have been popular on the Internet for a long time come from here.
