Who is the pig

Parades, guns, resistance, undercover, power, who is right, history never tells you and me.

The film mentions a lot of the word pig, whether it is implying the rights of black people or pointing directly at the political means of the government, it is not clear, but Hampton really slept like a pig in the end, lying in bed and being slaughtered.

A large number of speech scenes make people high-spirited, but the language is always beautiful, and in reality, action is paramount. I don't want to explore too much about that history, the scene is very bloody and bad.

The blood is the feeling, the bad is the ending.

Not everyone can succeed in the revolution after reading the election of Mao.

Petty fights, the political machine turns a blind eye to appear inclusive, free and democratic; there is organization, discipline, and a program, and it must be eliminated soon. The racial issue has never completely disappeared. Fred is such a perfect person in the film, and his love is so perfect that it's a pity that he died. It is not known whether the fact is so, but the decline of the black panther party is really a pity, in the end it is no match for the power. Although in this age of black lives matter, films themselves inevitably appear politically motivated, history shouldn't be forgotten.

In terms of narrative, it may be better if the focus is more prominent, otherwise in the same type of film, except for the performance, there is still no bright spot to speak of.

Judas and the Black Messiah quotes

  • Bill O'Neal: A badge is scarier than a gun.

Roy Mitchell: Would you mind explaining that for me?

Bill O'Neal: Any nigger on the streets can get a gun, sir. A badge is like you got the whole damn army behind you.

  • Fred Hampton: Politics is war without bloodshed while war is politics with bloodshed
