This is probably the most movie I've ever seen.

Time is a really weird thing, it can change a lot of things without anyone knowing. For example, when I watched this movie more than ten years ago, it was still called "The New Poseidon", but now, the word "new" has been quietly disappeared. It is estimated that few people have discovered it now, and everyone will still I think it's called "Poseidon". However, the same thing is, I still think this movie is good.

I still remember myself more than ten years ago, nesting in a dark bedroom, constantly watching all kinds of horror and disaster movies, and this movie is one of them. Because I liked it so much, I guess I watched this movie no less than five or six times at the time, and I went to its predecessor and various movies related to shipwrecks to watch, yes, because I heard at the time that this movie was also a remake (I'm going to give a vehement refutation to those who always say remakes are useless). There was a classic from the 90's, 70's and 80's or 60's. However, it may be more important at first sight. It is this one that left a deep impression on me and made me unforgettable. Every time I open the movie after that, I still feel so shocked. It's still the same this time.

I still can't name the actors in this show, although one or two are familiar - the mayor and his daughter. But strictly speaking, I really don't know them until now, but their performance in the play is really good. Even now, I can still remember the name of the male protagonist-Dylan, and I even thought this name was really nice. Ha ha. And beautiful single moms with a little boy. I liked the two of them the most in the play. After that, I went to the Internet to search for the names and works of these two actors, but unfortunately, they didn't seem to be very famous at that time, and there were not many works, and I didn't have any more. Interested to see their other works. Just keep watching this movie over and over again.

All right. Closer to home, it's time to talk about this movie.

(Oops, I'm a bit short on words, I'll continue writing it next time haha)

dang dang dang dang dang dang dang dang dang dang dang

When I read it again, I will find some details that I haven't seen so many times before. For example, I didn't realize that the old man who asked the waiter to open the 82-year-old Lafite had ear studs on his ear. It turned out to be gay. His sadness was also because his same-sex partner left him, as if he had a new love.

Poseidon quotes

  • Dylan Johns: [after the ship is capsized, to Robert when he asks to go to the ballroom] You suddenly have the urge to go dancing?

  • Dylan Johns: Does your husband...

Maggie James: oh, does that work much?

    Dylan Johns: What?

Maggie James: The tentative mention of a husband I'm supposed to correct, even though you clocked my wedding finger twice already.
