Magic, science fiction, apocalyptic, parallel worlds, orcs, rebels, wizards, genius boys, world pillars, whites, blacks, yellow races, fathers lost, prophets, demons, etc.
I haven’t read the original, so I don’t know what to say about the original, but it’s a damn hodgepodge. It’s neither beautiful nor delicious. The story is so old-fashioned. At first I thought it was a suspense movie until the so-called Gunman. Explaining the parallel world capriciously, I really lost my appetite.
Perhaps this is the shortcoming of the adaptation based on the novel. Is it not compact to condense the novel with such a huge worldview into one reality for thirty minutes? Especially in order to please Asians, a number of Asian roles were arranged. I was a little embarrassed anyway.
There is no story at all, the basic plot can be guessed after Gunman meets the boy
I don’t know why the people on Douyin are so tired of the short video clip of this movie. Maybe it’s because the villain is cooler.
