2010-2015 may be the best era for the Chinese two-dimensional people, and I was the happiest junior high school student in that best era.
When kill la kill came out, I was 13 years old and joined the school animation club. The teacher said that I was good at drawing, so I went there early every club activity day to pretend. I pretended to be arrogant for a semester, and no one drew better than me, so I went to the animation club next semester to grab a class and went to the animation club. This time the teacher held my hand and said that there is a genius in our class. I naturally If you don't believe me, I glanced at her painting with my nostrils, and in just 0.01 seconds I knew I was defeated.
I'm nothing in the face of mature anatomy, sharp shapes and cables, I'm like a dog. In the future, I would mute my voice or sit farthest away from her in every class. I felt uncomfortable, but I was smashed to pieces in front of my complete talent and love.
Her sketchbook was circulated in the class. When I came to me, I recognized the person she drew. When I got home, I clicked on it and watched kill la kill. I didn't know if I didn't read it. The one that excites me so much is the giant from not long ago. Where have junior high school students ever seen such a film, a film that was so sexy that he had to hide under the covers to watch it, and the dubbing that made my mother come to smash the door, the film that was so hot that tension almost shattered my iPad.
Later, when I went to the animation club again, I didn't have to act coercive or uncomfortable anymore. I was the first to see her paintings. She was as fascinated by her paintings as Satsuki and Trigger Club. But in fact, there are still hundreds of millions of people who don't want to draw such cool things.
2013 is long or short and it’s over. At that time, I must have never imagined that this was the most beautiful summer when I was a two-dimensional element. In 2021, I will open the website again and want to see kill la kill. There are no flying things, no animation club, no junior high school me, no more painting, and no kill la kill to watch.
Kongzhi Yingqiu inserted an independent short story in the Gintama single book, and wrote "Our name is 13, and we are beasts wandering in youth". When I was young, I didn't feel much, but now I burst into tears.
