Many years ago, when I was about seventeen or eighteen years old, I was still in high school, but I especially liked watching pure blood movies that didn't need brains and didn't pay attention to the plot. And I didn't feel any discomfort at the time, I could watch it even when I was eating, but now I can't. Now I still occasionally go back to watching some of the pure plasma movies I liked at the beginning, but it is inevitable to feel a little nauseated when I see some heavy taste pictures, or when a large pool of plasma is rushing out, not to mention watching it while eating. For example, "Deadly Bend", "Death is Coming", "Dark Invasion", "Pinhole Hotel", "Eye Across the Mountain", "Hatch Axe", "Friday the 13th", "The Chainsaw", "Eden Lake", "I Spit on You" The Grave" and so on. After watching more and more, I gradually found that the distributors of many of these thrillers are "Lionsgate Pictures" company, so I have some good feelings for Lionsgate, but this reboot, which is also released by Lionsgate, really has out of standard. What is there to say? The expectations are so high, the disappointment will be so great! When a plasma thriller starts to talk to you about the plot, play humanities, play religion, and let you watch it while you eat, it is doomed to be a failure.
