I finally finished this classic with patience, but no matter what most people say, I still feel like chewing wax after reading it.
First of all, the TV original setting is really limited. At present, FA has supplemented more than ten episodes. The world view setting that has just surfaced makes the world view of 03 seem extremely small; although the rhythm of 03 can really pave the way and render emotions better, the amount of animation information in episode 51 is indeed too much. small.
Second, the flaws of the plot are still very big. All wars and conflicts are the conspiracy of artificial humans. This setting is still qualified, but whether it is the setting itself, or the foreshadowing in the early stage and the reversal after that, there will be no shocking feeling. In the end, I found out that everything was a love story, and it was for my own selfish desires like eternal life, as well as the forced parallel world setting, which made me hmmm. In the later stage, the plot that the protagonist forcibly lowered his intelligence and the pig teammates took turns to promote each other is too reluctant.
Finally, the characters are drawn too flat. With the exception of Rust, who is more brilliant, the other characters are not full enough, or can't make me feel emotional and resonate. Edward's early and mid-stage noise, as well as Al's late-stage collapse, should be obvious to all, and that's why I wanted to abandon the show many times. Edward's growth as a protagonist was really slow, and it wasn't until the scene of saying goodbye to the chief that I felt a sense of sympathy. Although I understand that the flaws in the plot have to be driven by the recklessness and ignorance of the protagonist, it is really difficult for such a character to resonate.
All in all, I personally think that this is a work with too obvious flaws. I don't know if it's because I've already entered the youth, and it's not the reason why I'm not quite the audience for juvenile comics; or maybe this work was groundbreaking in the context of the 2003 era, but it has become too old today in 21 years. set. I always think that a good work can transcend the times, but the 03 version obviously does not deserve the praise it received. At present, FA has made up a dozen episodes, and the feeling in all aspects is much better than the 03 version. I hope FA can become a masterpiece that can rival hunters and giants in my mind.
