Mentor of the soul

This is the first time to write a film review for a film that is not the current issue. Of course, this is also the first time I have written a film review. I just watched things in the Bronx neighbourhood today, but I still read it intermittently, with mixed emotions.
It seems that everyone is very interested in things they don’t know much about. C is a very curious kid. When he witnessed the shooting and was called out by the police to identify the murderer, I knew he would not identify Sang. Ni. I think the next episode is that Sonny leads C into the road, and C grows into a generation of gangsters. But the facts were beyond my expectation. Sonny and C became a year-long acquaintance of mentor and friend, admonishing him to leave the rubbish companion, telling him the door rules, all of which played an immeasurable role in C's growth. The film Finally, the director has given us a hint.
Who is Sonny? The typical Italian underworld is ruthless. Someone shot and killed people on the street because someone robbed his brother for a parking space, but he was not cold-blooded. The ugly and often unlucky people are all driven out of the gambling game, but they are very righteous and willing to provide C's father with a chance to make money. He played the role of C's father to a certain extent. And C is such an ordinary adolescent boy, afraid of losing face and letting go of principles to be with Hupengouyou, but he is not ordinary. He is so lucky to have two mentors who are willing and able to guide him.
When C's four friends were buried in the flames and he went back anxiously to thank Sonny, I knew that Sonny's fate could only be death. I remember an article, probably called "Father Who Died in Time", every man has a little Oedipus plot-Oedipus tends to kill the father. The image of Sonny as a father guided C to choose his own outlook on life and his own outlook on love. His mission has been completed. If he does not die, what will be next? C's adolescent rebellion will vent to him.

[Exhibition at China Film Archive] A teenager was influenced by two great and upright men in the process of growing up, and grew into a man with their professors and help. What an amazing idealistic story. Especially the image of the righteous and unrestrained gang boss, helping the male protagonist get out of danger and teaching him the truth in life is moving. Black girls are also unforgettable. The music is beautiful and the story is touching. A stunning film!
