A rare Cuban comedy zombie film, it is indeed a somewhat rough low-cost production, and the special effects are extremely simple; but whether it is a tribute to the nonsensical style and black humor of "Zombie Shaun", or the comic-style lens style, various sharp lines , or the hatred of capitalism and the irony of socialism expressed through various metaphors can surprise the audience.
The zombies in this film basically have no fighting power in front of the protagonist and his party: so they made a fortune by killing zombies in fancy ways, not only killing their employers repeatedly, but even the old man in a wheelchair on the roadside. Let's look at the images of the protagonists: the basic friend who likes to jerk off and kills others by harpoon; the heroine who plays the role of Yan Zhi basically plays soy sauce; The obsessive partner leads the way; and Juan, as a survivor, has his own bottom line and perseverance even though he is a diaosi (thought he was going to jump off the building, but it would be ridiculous to be the next-door old king) - but I have to say that everyone's acting skills Still in place.
There are also two very impressive clips: the part of the cash truck was shot like a gay fight; Juan's English communication with the Americans really can't be much higher in junior high school, and the vocabulary displayed is a lifelong experience. Learn (simply die of laughter).
At the end, Juan was left alone to fight against the corpses (for some reason it reminded me of Whitebeard's tragic story of "There is no boat I can board in the new world"), showing the world the helplessness of Castro's reality under the beautiful ideal, and portrayed Today's Cubans - they face blockade sanctions, lack of supplies and the temptation of the outside world, face countless difficulties and contradictions, but still love their country deeply. In the final easter egg of the film, the companions choose to return to the shore to stay in Cuba and fight with Juan. They do not need the redemption of capitalism, just because they have their own beliefs.
P.S. Throwing the corpse in half directly into the trash and transforming the yacht with a car is too cool.
