In terms of special effects, as a sci-fi film that is also a big production, it really did not waste more than 100 million investment.
But what I still think about afterward is the movie perspective of the protagonist as a small character. The story takes place on a genius who can fly a spaceship, but he is just an ordinary person, not very smart, nor kind, on Earth. Survival in "The Last Days". The only love was given to Shunni, who was adopted by accident. And facing the same innocent and lovely Hwarang, he has been stingy to give her a smile, and he only thinks about selling a good price.
When faced with a situation where his teammates fell and everyone around was almost dead, the protagonist walked to the big boss and picked up the million dollars he used to mock him, because he couldn't let go of wanting to see his daughter again after so many years. One-sided obsession.
This is the real world of little people. They have their own perseverance and weak good intentions, and they will lose their voices in the face of danger. But they also question themselves and change their minds because of regret. For a person who wants to live, loving money is not something to be ashamed to express. Whether in the end times or in times of peace, when does material matter not matter?
And the appearance design of the boss in the movie is also OK. As a side story parallel to the main line, the movie depicts the character of the boss with a separate story, instead of letting him fight against the protagonist as soon as he appears, which makes me very happy. Comfortable.
It is also worth mentioning that the fusion of different languages from various countries in the film. In this regard, I have to say that the director is actually very bold, because if it is not handled well, it may become an embarrassing point for the whole film. But the strange thing is that the hodgepodge of these languages quickly made me adapt well, and even felt that it was too suitable for the multi-national background of the film, bringing an idealistic feeling of national unity.
The last thing I want to say is that this is a rare sci-fi movie without personal heroism. It can be said that the protagonist is useless in other aspects except to drive the spaceship a little faster than others. But it is such a movie that I watched for more than two hours without taking my eyes off of it, and I felt very excited. The protagonist is not stupid, but his IQ is not a genius. The movie does not praise Jack Sue, but it can make people feel that the warmth is spreading.
