Hisaishi and Kitano Takeshi

When you don’t know what movie to watch, it’s absolutely right to look at any of Takeshi Kitano’s works in the 1990s. It will surprise you. This “Sonata” is truly worthy of the top 100 movies in Japanese film history. The classic lies in the wonderful combination of cruelty and innocence in his films, Joe Hisaishi's soundtrack, Takeshi Kitano's extreme violent aesthetics and black humor, clean and neat, and the whole process of enjoying the movie is compared to other major Japanese directors. Kitano's works will not be so obscure and difficult to understand, and will be more friendly to ordinary movie fans. In fact, sometimes when I watch Takeshi Kitano's movies, I also have some selfishness in it. I just want to listen to the soundtrack of Joe Hisaishi. Joe Hisaishi is to Takeshi Kitano, just like Morricone is to Sergio Leone, Kitano Takeshi's camera language and Hisaishi's music really complement each other. Film is a comprehensive art, so a good soundtrack can play a narrative role and sublimate film work.
