4.0. Only this film review is dedicated to the best trilogy series "Infernal Affairs" in China. I gave this series four stars; the reason is because I prefer gangster movies. The conversation and confrontation between the police and the gang in the film; just like "Lust, Caution", it is the style of talking in words and hiding knives in laughter. This is currently the best trilogy movie in China; but you don't have to stick to these, you can have two, four and so on. The third installment of "Infernal Affairs" is more chaotic; the newly added Dawn, who acts very well, I first met him in "Sweet Honey". The acting skills of all the members are smooth; I have watched a lot of Hong Kong films, and the actors are basically acquaintances, but they have not played a single minute. In this film, there are only two female characters; Zheng Xiuwen and Carina Lau. Carina Lau has very few roles in the film; Zheng Xiuwen has a good appearance and plays the psychiatrist of Tony Leung and Andy Lau in the film. Time jumped too fast, causing headaches; one time before Tony Leung died, and another time after his death.
"Infernal Affairs" is a three-film series that cites Buddhist rhetoric at the beginning and end; adding a mysterious fatalism and reincarnation to the film.
The third part boldly uses the techniques of mental illness and split personality; Andy Lau deeply blamed and repented for Tony Leung's death, so much that he fabricated Tony Leung in the spiritual world.
The film has also expanded to the scope that the first two films did not have; with the addition of Hong Kong's security department, the section chief Li Liming is really a complex and ruthless man.
The infighting between the Security Section and other agencies; making the film even more exciting.
There's not much to say about this trilogy; like the Godfather trilogy, it needs to be revisited.
For the genre of gangster films, I also need to continue to expand; the battle of guns and blood, the battle of hearts and hearts.
