Opening the funeral of the Coffey family.
1. Michael's family
Michael tried a case where a black man stole meat to save his family and got a light sentence. During the trial, he found a mobile phone in a drawer in the trial court, on which a ransom text message had been received. He went home and saw the news that his car had hit the victim and escaped posted on the door, which may have been pried open. He saw that the family dog, Django, was sick and was going to take the dog to the vet. At this point, a neighbor told him that a man driving a green Camry had entered his house.
Michael showed a man accused of drug trafficking how to excuse his relatives as drugs, in exchange for learning how to find the provenance of a single-use cell phone. The phone is from Algiers.
The blackmailers demanded $222,000 from Michael. Michael went to withdraw the money, but the bank said it needed to make an appointment 48 hours in advance. As Michael continued to withdraw money, the blackmailer called again to urge him. Michael told him he knew his car, where he was, and said he didn't dare to blackmail him again. But the blackmailer sent a video (dash cam) of Adam's car refueling.
Adam
Adam and Fia met, and the two sympathized with each other as both loved ones died. (Adam says he's seen Rocco at a certain club because he's wearing a shirt at that club. But Fia says the dress is hers, so it may be a lie to prove Adam met at the club.)
2. Lawyers
Lee finds Eugene. Because she wanted to investigate Coffey's death, a second autopsy was needed. This requires the signature of an adult relative. That said, Coffey's dad needs to be found. Eugene told Lee. Although Coffey's father was reluctant to provoke the Lust Gang, Lee convinced him that he "couldn't help during his lifetime, at least once after his death". The second autopsy finally had a fair result.
3. The gangster family
The eldest son was released from prison and returned home.
Gina tells Jimmy that revenge makes her feel better.
The eldest son told a friend that "talking to the guy who killed his younger brother" got some injuries. They're going to do a drug deal.
Jimmy finds his relationship with the police after learning that Coffey wasn't the one who killed Rocco. The police handed over the recording of the call to Jimmy.
While listening to the recording, Gina found that 911 had called Rocco back and heard the background sound of the gas station. So I guessed that the murderer was cheering when 911 was called back. Jimmy checked three nearby gas stations one by one, and finally found one. People here have seen Michael and say he deleted the surveillance footage on the grounds that his wife was cheating on him.
Jimmy thinks the judge is the killer.
4. Desire Gang
Mo told Eugene that "a cop was covering us and wanted us to steal a car", but Mo, the head of the Desire Gang, didn't let him continue, but was worried about how to deal with the Baxter Gang. She promises Eugene to help him deal with the Baxters and avenge his family, on the condition that he has enough patience.
Da Mo and Xiao Mo go to the hotel owned by Baxter's family to ask for their guilt. She told Jimmy that the car was stolen the day after Rocco was killed (October 10). Jimmy asked her why she had told her so late, and she said there was no need to. Jimmy promises he'll investigate before giving her an account.
Dae-mok deliberately "lost" a sum of money in front of Eugene, but Eugene honestly paid it back.
