"Excavation" has a Malic, classical and ingenious audio-visual style, and the information conveyed by its story is rich and complex. The most unavoidable element in this exquisite story, and the element that best shows the creator's ambition, is the time that exists independently and affects all aspects - not to mention the ubiquitous discussion of time in the lines, archaeology and archaeology as themes. Time is inextricably linked, even voices in the narrative: if you listen carefully, in addition to birdsong and other sounds of nature, the clockwork that emphasizes time seems to be ubiquitous in the story, with Edith and Every conversation with Basil.
