The story itself is ordinary. There are a few interesting points.
Watch it because of Colin Firth, the charismatic Mr Darcy in Pride and Prejudice. But I have to admit that the years are not forgiving, and Colin Firth is getting old.
Besides Mr. Darcy, my favorite is the father-daughter dance scene at the wedding at the beginning of the movie. Libby's song is very, very nice. I finally found it today, called Because You Loved Me.
One more thing is fun. Daphne speaks American English, but at her father's house, the whole family speaks English. In a movie, you can hear two kinds of tones in dialogue, one is free and easy, the other is rigorous and solemn, just like Daphne's role in the United States. The girl's character contrasts sharply with that of her British family.
