A feeling after watching one of the 10 episodes in one go: Pete played by Steve Buscemi lives every time he speaks with one mouth. Louis C.K's role in this play is very important as the only person who cares about Pete a little. Several scenes in the later period and black py are amazing. Although the character is taciturn and always scratching his head, his role is no less than Pete's. It can only act as a green leaf here.
But Uncle Tooth, Uncle Tooth, Uncle Tooth, the Pete he played is just like the Iron Man played by RDJ.
In the end, when Uncle Tooth went crazy and went into the bar to get the knife, I got goosebumps all over. Uncle Tooth played a mentally ill (or just violence-loving) character in "Prison in the Air" before, but he never lost control. This time I played a crazy man who never hurt anyone, but killed Horace at the end. The only Horace who cared about him.
Buscemi's acting skills in this show can't be described by textbooks. Silently sweeping the floor, pointing at Uncle Pete in the first episode and scolding Uncle Pete, and the later scenes of dating Jenny are amazing.
Only William H Macy's performance as Frank in Shameless can be matched by an actor of his type (thin, good voice, expressive). And when they worked together in Frozen, I was amazed by their acting skills, but unfortunately neither of them won an Oscar (the role of the policewoman is more).
I have never seen a drama of the same type that can be sustained by talking in a bar. It was hard to make it real, but the crew succeeded. Speaking of this play, the script is very nb, the set of the play is very comfortable, and the camera is naturally very experienced. And E10 is the reason why I gave it five stars. This episode captured everyone's childhood. It also shows that Sylvia was a jerk from beginning to end, got cancer, and finally survived. uncle pete knew that Horace beat children, but never cared about it. So after uncle pete swallowed a gun and committed suicide because he was ashamed of pete? Probably not. But I think this can explain itself. The crew is blank.
The play revolves around Pete's illness and ends with Pete's illness. This show would be different without Buscemi supporting such a difficult role. That's the magic of Steve Buscemi.
