angel of death

I don't know how to say it, but in this movie Buenos Aires, 1971. Carlitos is a 17-year-old teenager. He has an angelic face that is irresistible to ordinary people. No matter what he wants, he can always achieve it. At school, he ran into Ramon by accident. The two formed a charming duo of handsome men. They quickly embark on a depraved path of stealing, lying, and even killing, which is just one way of expressing themselves. I can't judge them.

But there is one scene in the film that I really like, the scene of Carlos crying alone in the car. I don't think he's crying because of remorse or his remorse for everything he's done.

I really liked some of the episodes, especially the part where my finger was stuck in my mouth before the crash, my heart melted, and I used to like this a lot. The dance at the end of the film is in contrast to the surrounding guns. The conflict and opposition can be so beautiful. At this time, the film stops abruptly, and the aftertaste is endless. In addition to this, it tells the story of a beautiful young man's genius crime path, loyal and unswerving love, but it is very superficial and not much interesting.

El Angel quotes

  • Aurora: You think a normal person would have done what you did?

    Carlos: [unmoved] Yes.

  • Ramón: You're cute, blondie. You remind me of a girl I used to date.

Carlos: You can keep the vinyl too.
