What is it that controls the human mind?

Although it only lasted for half an hour, the thought it caused was infinite. I wondered what determines the human mind? We may be obsessed with the question of human beings' good and evil, but this seems to be not limited to these two words, because there seems to be no clear concept and boundary of what is good and what is evil. From the perspective of time, place, background, and characters, good and evil seem to be different. It's like some of the German Nazis didn't feel that it was their fault in the end, and they didn't feel that what they did was against human nature! contrary to conscience. So what exactly is the thing that controls the mind? Is it the formulation of the social system? Is it the common tendency of the general public? Is it personal consciousness? Is it a benchmark raised by countless heroes? I seem to be stuck with this problem now! But in this short film, I know that I will see some pictures and examples that I have already prepared in my mind, but when I see the real scene, the hair that fills the whole room, the scratches on the concrete wall, the thin The skeleton, the desperation of starving to eat bandages, and the hospital that says there will never be a living, all of these touch my heart, and this is what I seem to understand, my answer to the above question , seems to have become clear again in my mind. The thing that can touch my heart seems to be the reason of our human nature, these are just thoughts at the moment

Germany, what did Germany tell me? It's the will and radiates splendid colors. It radiates in all directions of the universe. It's also violent. It's full of terrible nights. It shakes Europe wildly.

Night and Fog quotes

  • Récitant/Narrator: With our sincere gaze we survey these ruins, as if the old monster lay crushed forever beneath the rubble. We pretend to take up hope again as the image recedes into the past, as if we were cured once and for all of the scourge of the camps. We pretend it happened all at once, at a given time and place. We turn a blind eye to what surrounds us and a deaf ear to humanity's never-ending cry.

  • Récitant/Narrator: 1933 - The machine gets under way. The nation must all sing the same song, with no wrong notes.
