The Loch Ness Monster - Not Just Science Fiction

I went to the movies with my parents yesterday. When the lights in the theater went dark, the trailer for "The Story of Two Foods" was released first. The content is both tumbling on the bed and murder, both pornographic and violent. I thought to myself that the people from the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television went to the National People's Congress, why didn't they harmonize this film? My dad suddenly said, "China should also implement a grading system." Hey, okay, although the old man hasn't been in the theater for a few years, he is still keeping up with the times.
The movie started, and the screenwriter cleverly combined the science fiction theme of water monsters with World War II, and did not directly describe the war, but only used the atmosphere of wartime to speed up the rhythm of the film. The emotions between man and nature, and between man and animals, can be sublimated even more in a war environment. At the beginning of the film, when the water monster was small, the director also added a Disney-style funny plot of the dog and the water monster chasing. In order to create a tense thriller, the director made full use of the loudspeaker of the theater, which would cause thunder and barking for a while. My mother said, "It's too noisy, it's too noisy", but she didn't sleep well all night after coming back. Therefore, it is recommended that parents who are older and whose ears are not easy to use are better to watch DVDs together at home.
Back to the movie, the theme of the story is still about love. The first layer is the owner's care and love for animals; the deeper layer is the little boy's love for his father. The two screenwriters work well together. It is precisely because of love that the timid little boy will be desperate to protect the water monster. The most difficult thing for sci-fi films to shape is the character of the virtual object, and this film portrays the water monster better. It is neither like a puppy clinging to people, nor like a tiger or leopard, it is indeed a spirit beast. There are still some shortcomings in the film, such as the introduction at the beginning and the plot at the end are too old-fashioned.
In addition, there are two highlights in the film. One is about love. The little boy's mother's choice between an officer and a retired hero leads to the two people's different value orientations towards marriage and family. The second is to talk about "Zhou Zhenglong", it's quite strange, hehe, you will know after watching the film!

    Female Tourist: What is that?

Male Tourist: It's a famous picture of the monster. But it's fake.

Female Tourist: How do you know it's fake? It looks real.

Old Angus: Oh, it's fake alright.

Male Tourist: Of course it's fake. Everyone knows that.

Old Angus: We'd know, son. There's more to that photo than meets the eye.

    Male Tourist: Oh ho, really.

Old Angus: Well, if you'd like to know the real truth.

Female Tourist: Yeah, I wanna know. Come on, it'll be fun.

Old Angus: [starts telling the story]
