The texts with strong allegorical colors are characterized by a double-edged sword, a miniature society in closed spaces, the projection of national cultures of different skin colors, the extremeization of human nature good and evil, and the strong symbolic meaning that endows characters and scenes with over-functional expressions. These are the elements of strength and weakness, which are basically presented in this film in a binary way. The good side is reflected, and the bad side cannot be concealed. The film has great ambitions and wants to present a lot. It is not very good to fall back from the allegory to the story itself. It is a bit expressing the meaning of skipping the narrative logic and leading the story. The rhythm is too slow, using the epidemic to discuss human nature, without describing the professionalism of epidemic prevention and treatment at all, so that many places are unreasonable. As the first batch of patients with the disease, it is really unimaginable to directly isolate and fend for themselves without studying the pathology. Although it is obvious that the focus of the movie is not on the epidemic, it should be treated scientifically. Nothing to do with doomsday, nothing to do with contagion, it's a fantasy film that assumes that human society suddenly jumps from one dimension of civilization to another. Although the simulated reality does not conform to any logic, the director also shows the small themes such as despair, unity, desire, domination, and resistance that he wants to express through the screen. In a fair world where nothing can be seen, it depicts the most instinctive struggle between survival and hegemony of human beings. The final big theme is that no matter how ugly and dark the world is, people should not give up hope, and there is a strong religious atmosphere. Movies that evoke associations are tiring and not suitable for people who are already exhausted physically and mentally.
