Compared with "Lucia's Lover", I think the title of the film is better to be "Sex and Lucia". The protagonist is Lucia, not the lonely writer Lorenzo.
Lorenzo is a clue, a dick who can tell a story, and dick connects the characters of the whole film. He is a real writer in the eyes of the male editor with long dreadlocks eyes, but the inspiration of the writer is all outside the body. Elena, who is married with an affair in the ocean, gave birth to a daughter, Luna, and regained inspiration with the female fan Lucia. Taking care of luna girls is written into the novel.
Lucia comes from the Latin Lux, which means light. So even when she is alone, she has to walk in the sun, "Alone in the sun". She is brave, "If it is the man I like, I will go after him." Rather than being like a writer, accepting everything that comes up. When going to Yunyu with the girl who takes care of her daughter, her daughter is entangled by the dog at the door, all the writer can do is jump out of the window and escape.

The sea, the waves full of desire, nurtures all stories, and can also contain and cleanse all. Lorenzo and Luna's mother, Anthony the diver, used to travel between mother and daughter. The only one that didn't go into the water was lucia. At the seaside, Anthony, who was hiding on the shore, helped lucia with sand and told her that the sea would wash away everything. But lucia rejected the possible cloud and rain.
"Every day I am farther from where I came from." Lucia described herself after arriving on the island. She came to the island from the land and got closer and closer to the sea. The most recent time, she fell from the hole and the sea was in front of her.
The window, the moon, the island... each has its own meaning. In the staggered timeline, each viewer can get the ending they want according to different clues. As director and screenwriter Julio said through the characters in the film, there is a lot of wonder in this story, because at the end, there is a hole to escape, to go back to the middle, to change the process.
Where is the last, the middle? All we have is the present, which is the beginning, the end, and the middle.
