Shame on me

At the beginning of the movie, I knew that some people would die in this subject matter, but I didn't expect it to be a massacre. When the medical rescuers saw the ashes of the 19 bodies, the picture was too impactful and too cruel. The real world is not a movie. There is no big reunion and happy ending. It makes me wonder have we ever actually cared for people who are doing very meaningful work? What everyone pays attention to is nothing more than the gossip of those star actors. Does this world operate by entertainment? As soon as the photos of real people appeared at the end of the film, I suddenly remembered the news that I had glanced at some time ago. It seems that a group of firefighters died to save the forest fire, and I just glanced at the news title and crossed it, so now I can't tell how many people, where the fire was, or even if it was a forest fire. Shame on me, those who work diligently to protect our lives, and even those who sacrifice their lives, no one pays attention, and even their deaths have not attracted the slightest concern and grief from the public. These numb minds only have the public who only have money, really shame on ourselves. Many people say that this is an American theme movie, so what, it is to reflect the living people and things, it is to let people see those people and things that are worthy of awe, and it is to let people really have a little faith in their hearts. Emotions and thoughts down. But my life is full of pan-entertainment, impetuous and nihilistic environment, spending money to make a stupid movie like Qingyaji is an insult to human beings. Turning off the movie to wipe my tears, I immediately turned on Variety Star Detective and began to continue draining the Sunday night.

"I let you into my heart, I changed myself, I gave up my addiction... but you walked out of my life" Adapted from real events, based on the guilt perspective of survivors, not falling into stereotypes and the main theme , The ashes after "deployment" are the most shocking.

I have been chasing "Wind City Flames", so I have produced the highest respect for the profession of firefighters. I really like the calm and plain perspective of the film. I not only remembered the strongest firefighting tragedy after 9/11 (by the way, many people have learned about it. Forest Fighting Fire), without sensationalism, described the problems, crises and friendships of their lives. Brave is the life and death that the team members did when the wildfire hit; it is also "no more chance to feel guilty, but bravely move forward".

Only the Brave quotes

  • Duane Steinbrink: I know you boys are looking for sympathy. You'll find that in the dictionary somewhere between shit and syphilis.

  • Eric Marsh: Fire's making a run for our line, and by the time she gets here she's going to be too strong to hold. Gonna crown that ridge, spot over and run straight into town. If we back burn this side of the mountain, by the time that bitch comes over it won't have no fuel to feed into.

Evaluator Hayes: That's a godawful idea. All the conditions favor the fire, and when that blaze comes down that mountain it's gonna kick your ass and use your burn to get even stronger, we won't be able to stop it.

Eric Marsh: Well our line's not gonna hold unless we burn it off.

Evaluator Hayes: Well then slow it down until we get more resources up here.

Eric Marsh: What you don't understand sir...

Evaluator Hayes: What you don't understand is forty years, son. I was on the job when you were still shitin' yellow, so if you think you're gonna to make a big move and impress me, i'm tellin' you right now, don't!

Eric Marsh: Due respect sir, you are just an observer, so let us do our job...

    Evaluator Hayes: No, you...

Eric Marsh: No no no! Step off, now! Step... off!
