Rudy, the scoundrel among the hostages, is eloquent, kind and righteous, and very cute. I believe that there will be many people who like him like me.
The lines are well crafted, just to name a few:
1. Hostage Miggie: "Don't let me go because I'm a woman, I hate that reason.";
2. The hostage taker (who is also an expert in negotiation) comes face to face with another expert who comes to negotiate: "At work?" "Almost, at (at home) convincing my wife and daughter (child) to make a truce" "It's easier here by comparison. ";
3. The hostage taker talks to the hostage: "Where's the toilet, Miggie?" "There's one in the bistro across the street, but maybe it won't work" "You can go, as long as you can bear us out" "There's one down the hallway ".
Dual protagonists complement each other.
The supporting characters are all lively.
Two wives: a black man and a widow, hate both.
