For road films, I really took a look at roads and cars. The road is my favorite road. As soon as the car drives up, the sky is full of earth, and it is crooked. Next to it is the tattered cornfield. In addition, I have been eyeing the four-cylinder Ford from the beginning to the end, and the models are very attractive.
It's like watching "Crazy Flowers at the End of the Road", at least one-tenth of the tears shed was because such a beautiful blue bird fell off the cliff and was reimbursed.
CLYDE is definitely a charming man who can win most women, except that it makes me feel a little shabby. If while I was drinking Coke, a man calmly rushed into the canteen to prove what he said to me, grabbed the money, took my hand and drove away in a car that didn't belong to us, what would I say? It will also give him a place at the ends of the earth.
The director's trick is very good to establish a positive image for this Barrow gang robber organization. Give guns to people who were robbed by the bank and let them shoot at the house occupied by the bank (this also has a rationalized explanation for them robbing the bank); only take the bank's money when robbing, and don't touch the employee's money; BONNIE Along the way, he romanticizes grand rogue-like behavior, publishes photos, and publishes poetry. You even think the people they teased, robbed, and shot were so ridiculous and vulgar.
Think of the ugly and seemingly stupid couple of robbers in "pulp fiction", it's like a spoof version of BONNIE&CLYDE. But it doesn't make the protagonists look smart and bright, and it doesn't accentuate their positive image. The elements of worship and yearning are much less, and the truth is sometimes not beautiful.
In the gang, the little guy who repaired the car and Clyde's brother's wife, Blanche, attracted my attention. The guy who repaired the car was ugly and stupid at first, and almost killed the Clyde couple. He's a fan mentality to the Clydes. I was proud of having tattooed the two of them on my chest. Be kind to them too. But in the end, when he knew about his father's cooperation with the police station, he chose to avoid it. why? Just because of his beliefs: "Bonnie and Clyde will never be caught!"
As for Blanche. This is simply a disgusting female figure. Pretentious, without brains, can only shout when things go wrong, and also full of greed without self-knowledge. Is she just for comparison with BONNIE? But what she said on the way to buy roast chicken made me understand that no matter how rude she was, she actually chose to follow them to the end of the world, giving up all the life she wanted. She is in order not to give up her husband's soul. After all, it is a descendant of Christians.
The heart of the inner drama is of course BONNIE. From a waitress who is unwilling to the status quo and fantasized, to a fugitive with no tomorrow. There is an interesting dream scene in the movie. That was the joy of getting along with the world for a short time during their escape journey. Before leaving, BONNIE's mother said to them: "I think it is very dangerous for you to stay by my side, you should keep running away."
What a good reminder. JUST RUN AWAY.
Unfortunately, they still have fantasies. Imagining a miracle like "if one day".
So they were beaten into a sieve under the sun.
After reading it, I went back and re-watched the beginning. Play those real photos like a slideshow. Maybe the story itself is better than the movie, I thought.
If they know that leaving is actually a great blessing.
