boring teenage movie

Originally, it was for the high 7.8 rating on IMDB.

Very disappointed after watching it. Of course, it does not rule out that in the absence of Chinese subtitles and my English level is not so high, I failed to fully understand the spirit of the film.

The plot is rather conventional, the male protagonist is not handsome, the female protagonist is not beautiful, there is no "big brother" who is surrounded by beautiful women, the big school seems to be just two gangsters, and the public school is so underfunded that the toilets are dilapidated, and the campus seems to have only two gangsters. Seeing the principal...

Charlie's dad is in prison, why the family can still live in such a big house and drive a Mercedes RV, it's puzzling.

The film avoids foul language and uses gestures to replace sensitive words, but it is to avoid film censorship and give an R rating to gain more audiences.

The film also exaggerates the side effects of Ritalin. Indeed, Ritalin has side effects such as fantasy, insomnia, stomach pain, diarrhea, headache, anorexia, and dry mouth, but why did the actor happen to experience the side effect of fantasy and it was so strong? ? ! ! What a pity he didn't discover the popular drink of coffee back then!

All in all, it's not worth wasting 97 minutes on this film.
