I saw that a friend mentioned the heroine's schizophrenic brain hole, and some of the threads thought it was right, and some thought it was just nonsense. I just want to open a film review to discuss whether the brain hole of schizophrenia can be established.
The purpose is to discuss whether it is possible or not. Those who come up with a transitional interpretation, or the director has not given any hints at all, please don't speak up.
First of all, let me say a few small metaphors and some of my brain holes in the director's fine points:
1. The first woman has a tumor in her brain, which seems to be quite serious, and you can't see any symptoms caused by the tumor in the first woman's brain in the whole play, such as headache, coma, etc. So why did the director give such a setting?
2. There are many friends who said that in fact, the first female mother was not dead but in a mental hospital, which does not make sense with the setting. I carefully re-watched the scene where the first woman came back to the mental hospital and called her mother 5 times. I found that the old lady on the hospital bed was not surprised that the first woman recognized the wrong person, but when the first woman ran out of the ward, the old lady's She looked like she knew the girl. So a bold guess is that because the first woman had a brain tumor, the previous conversation with her mother was imaginary, and it may be that the old lady was talking to the first woman. Please go back and look at the old lady's reaction. If you have never seen the female first, will it be such a calm reaction, and then the old lady's eyes when the female first runs.
3. The first and second females are both 28 years old.
4. The first and second female palms are the same size.
5. Neither of them can drive.
6. At 18:15, the stepmother said that you want to be sent back to the mental hospital again? My second female one once had a conversation with that old lady in a mental hospital, which can be echoed. Prove that the heroine has been in a mental hospital.
7. The first female has no memory of the past, including the second female. But throughout, the female first did not feel strange or behaved in any way because she had no memory. Logically speaking, she saw the second girl when she was a child, but why did she have no memory at all? When they met, I felt very abrupt at the time.
8. At the beginning of the film, we know that the female first came back from a place, but we don't know where she came back, and the film does not explain. So I think she didn't come back at all, but the good personality (female one) was awakened. So the female one has no memory.
9. The stepmother problem. First of all, there must be something wrong with the stepmother, because the stepmother said before her death that you will kill a lot of people in the future. The stepmother didn't come through, how did she know that the second daughter would definitely kill a lot of people in the future? This is so strange. So I have two inferences: the first is that there is no stepmother at all, it was imagined by the heroine. So the first person the heroine killed after she was discharged from the hospital was Uncle Strawberry, but this contradicted the plot that Uncle Strawberry opened the refrigerator and found her stepmother's body and was brutally killed. The second inference is that there is indeed a stepmother, but the stepmother is actually not bad to the second daughter. Because the second daughter has "phantom lying" and mental illness, she thinks the stepmother as a very bad person, and finally kills her.
10. At 18 minutes and 19 seconds, the stepmother said that she wanted to end up like your mother? Some people say that because of this, the distinction between one woman and two women cannot be established. If it is said that the mother of the first female was killed by him (the female protagonist's inference), did the stepmother plan to kill the second female with her own hands because she could not cure the second female? So it makes sense. (But according to the stepmother, it was also imaginary, at least its performance is an imaginary reasoning.) In the plot of the stepmother killing the second daughter, the second daughter has already subconsciously. So the second daughter was afraid that her stepmother would kill her, so she desperately ate it.
11. To make some bold speculations, the supermarket auntie also imagined it. The first reason is that she has the same injury on her body; the second reason is that the first woman said the name of the supermarket aunt when she first received the call. Because I think the close-up of the supermarket aunt's scar is really abrupt.
12. Female No. 1 and Female No. 2 have very similar pronunciations. Seo Yeon and Young Sook are angels in the beginning, but demons in the past.
13. In the end, the first girl asked her mother on the phone to find out if there was a sharp weapon that could hit the second girl. The mother saw the fire extinguisher, and you must know that the fire extinguisher is not a sharp weapon. And then the first woman can think of using a fire extinguisher to spray the second woman.
14. The first and second female swear words at the end of the phone are the same.
15. The figure of the mother in the easter egg disappeared.
16. The heroine still had burns on her body at the end, which means that the fire did indeed happen (not that it was reversed many times as in the film), and her father also died in the fire.
17. There is another detail here, that is, the first call is actually a normal call, but from the second call, you can only call yourself in another period. My understanding is that the heroine once again saw the evil and ugliness of human nature from the first phone call, thus awakening the second female demon personality again.
18. Why use precise points to explain the whole drama, because if you use precise points to explain, you can solve all the bugs caused by time recursion. Of course, some viewers and friends use the film's self-consistency to solve the grandfather's paradox.
There may be some details in it. You are welcome to add them. In these summaries of mine, there are many details found by the audience and friends of that film review.
So the whole drama is linked together, it is probably a logical line like this:
The heroine accidentally creates a fire, and the father is killed. The mother and the heroine had a dispute. During the dispute, they both fell from the second floor and the mother died. In the part where she fell, we saw that there was a lot of blood near the head of the second female, so she must have broken her brain. Thus was sent to a mental hospital (I don't think there is schizophrenia here). And the instinct of self-protection tells her that it was her mother who forgot to turn off the fire and caused her father's death (she didn't want to admit that her father killed herself, and she had a dispute with her mother, so she wanted to put the blame on her mother), so There was only the part where the first woman was unfriendly to her mother in the mental hospital (actually she said it to the old woman). Later, after a period of treatment for the heroine, the situation improved slightly and was taken away by the stepmother (assuming the second inference). The second daughter killed her stepmother and was discovered by Uncle Strawberry, who received a lunch. In order to cover up his crime, he killed the 76-year-old old man who was picking up rubbish. Because the heroine could not escape the inner condemnation, she transformed into the character of the female first (only at this time did schizophrenia officially appear). So the girl has absolutely no memory of everything before. Out of guilt, Nuyi contacts all those who have died because of her. The first is Uncle Strawberry, then Mom and Dad, etc. The first girl hated herself and wanted her evil side to die, and she felt sorry for the old man who picked up the trash, so she called the second girl to go to the old man's house to pick up the trash, and wanted to blow up the second girl to death. As for why there is no stepmother in the female perspective, it may be my reasoning 1, there is no stepmother, or it may be because the stepmother in the female protagonist perspective is very hateful, this person should be damned, there is no guilt, so in the female perspective The role of stepmother does not appear.
So what's the end of the film? In the easter egg, it's actually very clear. In the end, the evil side of the second girl won, because the character of the good girl was forever locked in the chair in the basement. . .
According to this kind of thinking, brain hole and explanation, we can interpret a few points:
1. Explain the time logic of the whole play.
2. The problem of multiple endings, the ending of the main film and the easter egg are actually in conflict with the normal viewing of the movie. But in fact, there are no multiple endings at all, there is only one ending. Easter eggs are actually the final outcome.
3. Explained many abrupt places in the film: such as the female first's brain tumor and so on.
That's about all I can think of. You can think about it again, whether there are any specific details that can testify to the logic of Jingfen, and whether there is any key evidence to deny the logic of Jingfen.
