In fact, we can understand the bug at the end as long as we look at it as two endings. Because the story has been going backwards according to the time line, it is divided into two endings when the police and the mother of the first female come to the house.
Ending 1: The second female 19 called the second female 99, reminding the police and the mother of the first female that they would be here soon, so be sure to hold the phone. This ending is that the second girl killed the police and killed the first girl's mother, and imprisoned the first girl until now (or she has not been imprisoned until now, only the first girl who was imprisoned in 1999, but was finally presented with Park Shin-hye). Because the second girl has been alive, she can call her former self to remind the police that the police will come. This logic makes sense. So, this is the final result.
Ending 2: The second girl in 19 didn't call the second girl in 99. This is the ending until Park Shin Hye's subtitles appear at the end. The second girl of 99 died and her mother lived, and she and the first girl of 19 went to visit her father's grave.
The problem with the ending bug is that the director mixed the two endings of whether the 19th girl called the 99th girl at the end, that is, until the subtitle Park Shin Hye played according to the second ending, and then after the subtitles were released, Then modify the ending according to the result of the first ending, so the mother disappears and the female one is imprisoned, so it looks like a bug. In fact, the two endings are mixed together.
This can be understood separately.
