A little feeling about the film and Xiao K

I saw the trailer by accident and noticed Xiao K at a glance. In the strict sense, this is Xiao K's fifth movie I watched, but I couldn't associate her with Bella at all, okay? Let's make it up first I watched a lot of interview videos, various clips and street shots about Xiao K, and then watched the movie. I don't know why, I think this is her true character, right? The embarrassment at the time of speechlessness is really laughable; there is also the staring at Sister Mai after the banquet is messed up, that is, the feeling of first lowering your eyes, then raising your eyes and lowering them, heartache; and finally! When my mother called Xiao K to come and take a family photo together, oh my god, I really loved it when I ran over so shyly.

I can't give this movie 5 stars though, although I love Xiaok, maybe because it's a Christmas movie, and the ending is so surreal and beautiful, I can't believe such a conservative and reputation-conscious family would end up in one night. Accepting that her daughter is gay and also accepting her girlfriend's girlfriend enthusiastically, what? I also saw a lot of people saying that it is better to be with Sister Mai's ex-girlfriend, but I don't think it is necessary. When there is a relationship problem, as soon as a person who looks good appears, immediately give up his girlfriend and seek a new love? ? It feels like riding a donkey looking for a horse.

In general, happy end is good, and the Christmas atmosphere is also very good. It is a movie suitable for watching in winter. One last thing to say, I think Xiao K is suitable for this kind of relaxed and close-to-life movie. I don't know if it is suitable or not. Anyway, after watching two of her other movies, this is my favorite. I really hope She can do more like this haha

Happiest Season quotes

  • Ted: I have sunk almost all of our savings into this campaign. Because I thought, if I won, you'd all be proud of me.

Harper: We're already proud of you.

Sloane: We don't care if you win.

Jane: Yeah, and the money doesn't matter. When I sell my book, I'll take care of all of us.

Ted: I love you, girls. And I'm sorry for making you think that anything could ever get in the way of that. I want to do better, and it will take time, but all I want for you is to find the same joy and happiness that you have given me, no matter where it comes from.

  • Tipper: I'm sorry about all this mess.

Abby: What? No, this is so nice.

Tipper: Better than your room at the orphanage?

Abby: Oh, I wasn't in an orphanage, because I was 19 when my parents died.

Tipper: Oh. One of the lucky ones.
