anticlimactic

Many of the clips are reminiscent of Hayao Miyazaki's "Nausicaa" (the desert, the appearance of sparrowhawks), "Castle in the Sky" (the characters of Spider-Man and Cunning Rabbit), and even "Spirited Away" (such as "Spirited Away") Therou climbs the city wall and climbs the stairs).

Maybe it's because I'm stupid, and I feel that a lot of suspense at the beginning of the movie has not been answered by the end. The inexplicable dragon without a reason may be just for Sparrowhawk to say in surprise when he saw Therou: This girl can't be...

It turned out to be a dragon. Is it one of the two dragons fighting at the beginning of the film? But why are they fighting?

Why did Li Bainan suddenly become gloomy? When I stabbed his dad, I thought that his dad had done something wrong to him, and I wondered if I didn't see that this man was a smug man... The

scenery is really beautiful, the bad guy is really obscene, and the Spider-sama at the end is a bit of a spoof. The film doesn't fit.

In short, I was in high spirits when I started watching it, and it felt like a hasty ending at the end.

Tales from Earthsea quotes

  • Haitaka: Listen to me, Aaren: everything you see under the sun and stars owes its very existence to the balance: the wind and seas, the powers of earth and light, all these do is well and rightly done within the equilibrium. But now, men hold the power to control the world. Men must learn to do what leaf and whale and wind do naturally. It is for us to keep the balance. Everything that exists has its true name. The power of magic is nothing more than the power to command based on the knowledge of a thing's true name. But use that power irresponsibly, and the balance of the world is easily damaged. Spells should be made only when absolutely needed.

  • Tenar: Leave her alone! She's done nothing to you!
