can be sure is that these two times are indeed two versions. The details that I still remember include:
1. At the beginning of the film
A: The princess as the narrator explains Satan IV’s plan and a few brief stakes
B: The male voice narration introduces the history of the universe, including the control of machines and humans The source of the rebellion, churches and guilds, supplemented by comic pictures for screen switching, is much longer than A.
2. The first
details of the sand dune : the duke, several retainers and the imperial professor sit together. The professor said that his alliance partner is Freman. Not loyal to the empire, the Duke poured water on the ground to express his alliance. Paul saw the companion star from the water on the ground (?)
Detail 2: When Duncan first saw the Duke, he gave the Duke a letter, which said that the day’s blue smoke would be The fire at night, the Duke thought it was a cryptic warning. In
these fragments B, A completely deleted
the shot of the Duke and the professor visiting the spice collection of the sand dunes, and version A was placed in the first arrival of the sand dune army to clean up the destruction equipment of the enemy's placement. After that, immediately after the sand dunes collected the footage, Paul found a hidden weapon in the room to rescue the butler. The sequence of version B is to clean up the equipment and save the housekeeper. The housekeeper took a white machete to see Paul’s mother. The visit to the spice collection
was very unclear. In short, the plot timeline of the two versions is very different
. 3. With freman
details. One: When accepted by the Freman tribe, Paul and one of them, Jamis, won a duel with Garney's short knife, so he was named friends, and then Paul and his mother watched Jamis's funeral (fetching water after death).
Detail 2: Before drinking the water of life, Paul saw the process of freman getting the water of life from a small sandworm (really disgusting...).
Among these B, A was completely deleted
. 4. During the war
This part is almost insignificant details. For example, B has a few shots of soldiers rushing and lightning and thunder when it rains, but A does not; one shot is a panoramic view of the fortress, and Paul’s group appears in B. Entering the hall where Satan IV met, the A appeared after Paul and the others stood still in the hall, and so on.
Think of the other differences and continue to add them. As for why I can still notice the differences in such a long-winded film... I don't want to.
