Lonely, the way of the strong

I accidentally opened the book "Bambi". I haven't seen the movie before. I bought it for my daughter. Seeing I haven't read it, I want to open it and read the story. Finally, it took two days to finish reading this book.

As the introduction says, this is an excellent book to educate children to be brave, independent and optimistic, and a fairy tale about love, growth and life. However, at the age of thirty, I saw a lonely road to the strong. Bambi was born in the forest of Maolin, he grew up, and grew up to his lover Fei Lin. In the end, he left Fei Lin, stayed alone, and walked towards the road of loneliness, just like the old deer king. People walk through the depths of the forest that no one dares to step into, living alone and protecting themselves.

A long time later, Bambi met Fei Lin. At this time Fei Lin was very old. The cute and clever little Fei Lin was old, but he did not rush to find her in the end and kept staring at her. At this time, he has become a strong man. In the end, he overcame his fear of humans, when he realized that there is another power above all people. He became the same strong as the old deer king, and all the deer of the same generation were gone, only he was still alive.

If you want to become a strong person, this road must be lonely and hard. Just like a human being, a person’s energy is limited. When he needs a lot of energy to maintain social interaction, he cannot devote himself to what he really pursues. In his career, when he abandoned all the worldly noise, he began to embark on the road of the strong.

Bambi quotes

  • Thumper: Whatcha gonna call 'im?

Bambi's Mother: Well, I think I'll call him Bambi.

Thumper: Bambi... Yep, I guess that'll do all right.

  • Flower: [about two birds fluttering around] Well! What's the matter with them?

Thumper: Why are they acting that way?

Friend Owl: Why, don't you know? They're twitterpated.

    FlowerThumperBambi: Twitterpated?

Friend Owl: Yes. Nearly everybody gets twitterpated in the springtime. For example: you're walking along, minding your own business. You're looking neither to the left, nor to the right, when all of a sudden, you run smack into a pretty face. Woo-woo! You begin to get weak in the knees. Your head's in a whirl. And then you feel light as a feather; and before you know it, you're walking on air. And then you know what? You're knocked for a loop, and you completely lose your head!

    Thumper: Gosh. That's awful.

    Flower: Gee whiz.

    Bambi: Terrible!

Friend Owl: And that ain't all. It can happen to anybody. So you'd better be careful.

    [points at Bambi]

Friend Owl: It could happen to you...

    [points at Thumper]

    Friend Owl: ...and you, and...

    [Flower looks at Owl shyly]

Friend Owl: Yes, it could even happen to you!

Thumper: Well, it's not gonna happen to me.

    Bambi: Me neither.

    Flower: Me neither.
