The first Disney cartoon that my daughter likes

I wanted to find Toy Story to show her and educate her to treat the toys properly, but the complete Disney animation series in our house is a pirated compressed DVD. I don’t know what movie is on each disk. I don’t have a menu yet, so I can only press Playing sequentially, it was just such an accident that I saw "Bambi".
In my impression, this is an old film. I didn't expect that its exquisiteness is not inferior to the current new film, and it is very simple, with a realistic but poetic style.
At the beginning, the little prince Bambi was born. Although he does not have the grandeur of "The Lion King," he is more warm. After the little animals who visited them had gone, the mother deer licked the deer gently and whispered: Bambi, my little Bambi. My daughter will get into my arms, arch and arch, and say: Mom, my good mother. This kind of emotion between mother and child is very natural in the film.
Then there are a series of pieces showing the growth of the deer. Learn to walk, learn to speak, and express the curiosity of a child.
Then it rained. This segment is very beautiful, the raindrops gradually merged into continuous music from a single rhythm, and finally turned into a joyful jumping song. My daughter asked me, why did you sing? I told her that next time it rains, you will listen to it and you can also hear singing.
The next paragraph is going to the grass, revealing the dangers in the life of the deer. In this episode, I also met Bambi’s girlfriend, Faling, and the eldest prince in the herd. I guess the eldest prince is Bambi’s father, but because I don’t know much about the life habits of deer, I don’t know why Bambi’s mother doesn’t Said it was his father.
In the next paragraph, it's snowing, and Bambi and the bunny are skating together. My daughter likes this paragraph the most. Seeing Bambi smashing somersault on the ice, she can't stand up anyway, she is very happy. This is also the performance of the last worry-free childhood. When my daughter reads this passage, she always asks me, where is his mother? I had to explain that his mother works at home, you see, Bambi doesn't pester her mother, he just plays with the children by himself. I don't know if her little heart also has a mysterious premonition, knowing that the deer will lose her mother forever.
Later, the animals began to experience the harsh winter. They had to gnaw on the bark, and gradually the bark in the upper part was eaten up. The scene of the mother deer walking in the wind and snow was sad.
Finally spring is approaching, and the first fresh grass grows in the snow. It was during this period that Bambi lost his mother. The film is sad but not sad, and does not desperately exaggerate death. Perhaps it is because of the child's young heart. I think this is very good. Don't let the child know the tragic death too early.
Later, Bambi grew up into a young stag, fell in love with Fa-ling, met the big fire and other plots, the daughter still can't understand, so she is not very interested. By the time I saw the end, Bambi’s child was born. He took over the job of the prince and took on the task of caring for the deer, and his friend the rabbit thugs also had a large group of bunnies, and couldn’t help feeling that the animals grew up. It's so fast, my baby grows so big, it will take many, many years.

Bambi quotes

  • Thumper: Whatcha gonna call 'im?

Bambi's Mother: Well, I think I'll call him Bambi.

Thumper: Bambi... Yep, I guess that'll do all right.

  • Flower: [about two birds fluttering around] Well! What's the matter with them?

Thumper: Why are they acting that way?

Friend Owl: Why, don't you know? They're twitterpated.

    FlowerThumperBambi: Twitterpated?

Friend Owl: Yes. Nearly everybody gets twitterpated in the springtime. For example: you're walking along, minding your own business. You're looking neither to the left, nor to the right, when all of a sudden, you run smack into a pretty face. Woo-woo! You begin to get weak in the knees. Your head's in a whirl. And then you feel light as a feather; and before you know it, you're walking on air. And then you know what? You're knocked for a loop, and you completely lose your head!

    Thumper: Gosh. That's awful.

    Flower: Gee whiz.

    Bambi: Terrible!

Friend Owl: And that ain't all. It can happen to anybody. So you'd better be careful.

    [points at Bambi]

Friend Owl: It could happen to you...

    [points at Thumper]

    Friend Owl: ...and you, and...

    [Flower looks at Owl shyly]

Friend Owl: Yes, it could even happen to you!

Thumper: Well, it's not gonna happen to me.

    Bambi: Me neither.

    Flower: Me neither.
