"Only Love Forever" is probably the most easily accepted by ordinary audiences among Jarmusch's works. It is beautifully shot and is the best vampire movie in my opinion. To tell the truth, I don't have much feelings for "The Four Hundred Years of Blood Sucking".
"only lovers left alive" doesn't have any other vampire films where people's ghosts are not over, and love can't live and die. The male ghost is handsome and melancholy. He is a musical genius. He loves to collect antique guitars from humans. He makes music with self-appreciation. He has a non-disclosure agreement with the young human rock fan brother who helped him collect musical instruments. It came out as a divine comedy like "Stairway to Heaven". The female ghost Swinton is elegant and graceful, loves poetry and literature, and only has a box of books spanning hundreds of years in her carry-on luggage to see her lover. The couple often chatted and chatted about Einstein's quantum entanglement. They don't compete with the world, they rarely interact with the humans they call zombies, they don't treat people's necks as Jingwu duck necks when they hunt for food, and they only buy pure negatives from doctors who are familiar with the blood laboratory of the hospital. Type O blood goes home and sips small sips. It will make people sick after drinking the unclean blood that is increasingly polluted by humans. It is very different from other Jarmusu movies like the clueless and unhappy protagonists who only have embarrassing chats. This lovely couple is like a fairy couple who has fallen into the mortal world. Worth it, a little world-weary. One of them is named Adam and the other is named Eve, and they should be the role models of Jarmusch's selfish human beings.
But no matter what kind of skin he wears, the fairy in "Only Love Will Live Forever", the rich and lonely old Don Juan in "Broken Flower", or the young man who writes a poem every day in "Paterson" Town bus drivers are outsiders at heart, alienated from the world around them.
The highly recognizable symbol of Jarmusch's films is the ubiquitous sense of outsider. In addition, there is also the art film director's favorite and imposing artifact, the long shot. Finally, there is good music to listen to.
