#WednesdayMovie# Issue 05 "Hellboy" Part1
Recommended star: two stars
Key words: destiny; human nature; struggle
When I heard that "Hellboy" was finalized, the psychology was still a bit complicated. It was not mainstream and not very pleasing. It might have been a blockbuster to be selected, and then Aunt Mira would be in charge, maybe there would be a show?
"Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen" has a similar story core to the spinning top version of "Hellboy". Hellboy is the seed player who destroys the world in the fable, but he grew up in the human world, in the choice, he chose human beings and resisted fate, so he became a man, a person with humanity.
Indeed, in so many comics, Hellboy may be the closest to a human character. The original name was translated as Hellboy, which may be more appropriate. Because he was like a small child who liked to complain, rebelled against the rules, and valued his friends.
He likes to be funny, and his weird body can form unexpected jokes, such as asymmetrical fists, broken horns and flexible tails, and the stalks that often break the phone screen in movies are also more fun. There is a very interesting sentence in the film. Hellboy said that his cynicism, in the opinion of psychologists, is to normalize himself by relying on jokes.
Yes, he wasn't just an outlier who wanted to look normal. He was originally an opposing camp of humans, because he had a kind father and some trustworthy humans, and he was willing to fight to the end. In fact, this can also be regarded as a tragic story, because human beings are wary of monsters and the like, let alone friendly.
His story setting itself is very meaningful. At the end of World War II, the German troops wanted to use black magic to summon demons for their own use, and the inclusion of the Defense Bureau for Paranormal Research was not a use. Hellboy, is nothing more than a suppressed monster, helping humans to kill their own kind.
The story is originally tragic and heavy. It’s true that Hellboy likes mouth-cannons, but out-of-time mouth-cannons are not very fun. The whole film is too fast-paced and has a lot of laughs. The most serious thing is the frustration of the big villain. No one may like the climax. Struggle is introverted. No matter how good an actor is, without time and foreshadowing, the struggle seems to be no more, and the decision-making is immediately simple.
Aunt Mira was so pretty, and then there was none. Not to mention, I plan to see BPRD.
