Let me also take a guess:
1 Grace may have a split personality, or have childhood shadows.
The opening scene is when Grace was a child, and there is a scene in her childhood when Grace saw the blood on the ground, bursting the beautiful bubble, I believe it meant something. Including the estrangement of her father-daughter relationship, it seems that she has a grudge, which may be related to her childhood experience.
So one of the guesses is that her personality is split, and another personality finds out that her husband cheated and killed Xiaosan, so seeing Xiaosan being hammered from the first perspective may be a memory of another personality.
2 Maybe it was the husband who killed him, and the other side of him and the truth of their marriage will be slowly revealed through the development of the later story. In the third episode, the husband's performance (self-whitening when visiting prison, biting each other's fingers in fights with inmates, using information asymmetry to cheat the old husband's money and making his father-in-law grateful) and his former colleague Stuart's evaluation (extremely narcissistic, Even being nice to the patient is out of narcissism), giving the impression that he is a selfish narcissist who is good at manipulating relationships. In the original book, it is also said that the heroine gradually found out that her husband was the cause of her estrangement from her friends and family.
Of course, what matters is not the ending. It is a more interesting topic to explore the causes of characters' personalities, the truth about family and marriage relationships~
