It's actually been 18 years since I watched "Flesh and Spirit", and it's been two years since I think about it.
I still clearly remember that although I had a feeling when I watched it, I gave it three stars because some of the plots in the film made me feel that it was not enough to meet my expectations, so I gave it three stars. After two or three days, I will always recall some scenes in the film, which are unforgettable. Then it was changed to four stars.
It can only be said that the stamina is too strong. I like such a movie with sufficient stamina, which is unforgettable.
Recently, I have been obsessed with this movie again, and it is time to review it.
Many plots in the film lie between dreams and reality, between the white snow between heaven and earth and the rivers of blood in the slaughterhouse, between alienation and enthusiasm, between running and retreating, under various circumstances. Interlaced with strong contrasts, it is moving and in-depth.
I can only think of one sentence: before the body finds each other, the soul already knows each other and accompanies each other.
How to reach each other's heart, in repeated exchanges and interactions, no one knows whether the ending will gradually drift away or know each other.
Every communication and every interaction is unknown, and what the other party perceives is not necessarily right, and it may be a misunderstanding.
When God created us, he gave us a mouth to communicate with, but he also gave us different minds and thoughts because of our different personalities. Everyone has the same thing, but what they express in their mouths and what they think in their hearts are different. Why? Eliminate these differences and achieve the unity of heart and mouth?
Like Maria, we are constantly and clumsily learning to communicate, learn to understand, learn everything, and then perceive the whole of each other, trying to reach another individual, and get rid of the predicament that these words are not expressive and love is hard to say in our hearts.
And these all take time to settle.
Waiting for love, until then you will understand that love only makes sense when it goes both ways.
