The common translation in Chinese is "Dream Detective", which is a name I despise. Direct transliteration, such as Paprika / Paprika / red pepper, I feel ok.
This is the first time I've seen Jinmin's stuff. After watching it, I can only say that it is very good and powerful.
As an animation, Paprika is enough to shock people in terms of pictures. If "Evil Boy" is a low-key and far-reaching gorgeous color, "Paprika" is more high-key, the color is more red and so on, it feels like the texture of a cloud, the sharpness is not high, but it is still very comfortable. Jealousy, self-redemption, split consciousness, and self-reflection projections make the mind never stop watching this film. And many pictures in the parade, like Silent Hill, have its metaphors. There are boys who have turned into mobile phones, madly filming under the skirts of schoolgirls who have been deformed, there are perverted manifestations of office workers, and there are Guanyin Bodhisattva and the Statue of Liberty both wearing bikinis and beckoning cats occupying the street together, and so on.
