It's a sad love story

"To truly love another person is to accept the work of loving them is worth the pain of losing them." The setting of "Ghost Manor" has been a gothic love story in a horror shell from the very beginning. The original work "The Screw is Tightening" is a landmark work from classicism to realism horror novels. It has a low threshold for appreciation and terrifying difficulty in adaptation. Except for Ingrid Bergman's version of "Bilu Injustice", its film and television drama The adaptation has always teetered on the brink of failure. It is indeed difficult to fill a story of 9 episodes with a novella. There are 3 screenwriters and 4 directors in the production team of the second season, which directly caused the split in style. It only started to exert force from the fourth episode, and the fifth episode reached the climax of the whole show, but its lengthy first 3 episodes really paved the way. Many viewers were persuaded to retreat, and the foreshadowing of some details was indeed lost. Despite this, the ninth episode deepened the theme and still harvested my tears powerfully. The overall level did decline compared to "Ghost Invasion", but it was not enough, and it was still more than enough. The viewing experience is actually quite personal, and I still love this slow story, like a sonnet with a long aftertaste but not rigorous enough. Not scary enough, but if you want a heartwarming and heartbreaking story about love, Ghost Manor will still be your favorite.
