Starting from the third part, the film began to fog like rain and wind, but it didn't look like Resident Evil at all. The failures are mainly summarized in the following points.
One, Alice's destruction of the balance of worldview. Resident Evil itself discusses a simple survival problem, that is, the protagonist confronts zombies in order to survive, and extends the confrontation with the human organization behind the crisis that triggered the crisis, but this is secondary. The simple point is to fight zombies and play a heartbeat. But since Alice, a perverted character, has traveled to the world of Resident Evil, balance has been unsustainable. Alice itself has a repressive advantage in fighting zombies (this is the fucking thing that is clearly mowing the grass in "Three Kingdoms Warriors"), which leads to the embarrassment of the original protagonist's position, and her position is occupied by a clue character, not only can't act as progress Strength, sometimes also acts as a drag oil bottle to maintain balance. For example, Valentina's second dragon set, the fifth act as a powerful enemy combat force: Lyon, who looked like a rapist, was professionally beaten and fractured; King Ada appeared to faint. What I want to say is that in your world, you certainly have the right to decide the fate of the character, but this does not mean that you can take out the classic characters in the original book to insult. 26-year-old Claire, where is your sister's girl? The eternal life and death kiss between King Ada and Lyon was actually interpreted as touching your sister's thigh, your sister! What's more ridiculous is that when Alice's ability becomes a movie bug, it needs a shot of Viagra to solve it.
Second, the contradictory changes in the film. Originally, the world view of Resident Evil is not very complicated. Simply put, it is the contradiction between humans and zombies, and the complicated one is the contradiction between human survival and its own development. So the scene is expanded from the factory to the city, and from the country to the world. In fact, the contradiction has not changed. But what makes it difficult to understand is that the main line of contradictions in the film somehow turned into a contradiction with the clone, and even finally turned into a contradiction with the AI. This is a fundamental digression (Nima, this is not "Star Wars" or " The Matrix"). Imagine that the cloning technology is so advanced, why use germ warfare?
Third, the film has a less obvious political meaning in disguise. West-centrism, Cold War mentality, and the shadow of World War II flood the entire series. Like the Tokyo Massacre at the beginning of the fourth part, I don't know how the Japanese audience feels. The fifth part of the battle with the Soviet army for no reason, even if it is only for the box office, these are incomprehensible.
Fourth, the lack of plot. The essence of this series can be summed up as Alice a monster. The fifth movie did not even advance the plot development throughout the story. The laying of this kind of stacked bed frame house is basically a vegetarian meal. To put it simply is to cheat money.
After watching, I was very depressed, not vomiting, not happy...
