"Self Redemption" of Female Killers

After watching the entire film, the most impressive thing is the last narration.

"who I am?

Spoiler alert

The organization's best killer? Ex-addict? A daughter betrayed by her mother? The bastard sister who robbed her sister's fiancé? The old killer's most valued apprentice? …

The various identities of the heroine Ava are shown by the screenwriter from the lines and events. This is not an action movie about a female killer who kills and plays handsome, but explores the nature of Ava, who is she?

It can be seen from the lines that the screenwriter wants to write a good story. The writers use the lines to subtly tell the audience about the characters' personalities, their experiences and backgrounds. You can even know from the lines that Simon has more than one wife, and he loves the younger daughter but lets the older ones follow his old ways. I personally like such descriptive lines, and a few strokes let you know the character.

I can see the writer's ambition, but the script is still not strong enough. Obviously the director also has a pot. Many clips flash back, and the scene switching is a foreshadowing for Ava by the screenwriter, and also explains her background, abilities, personality and the reason for being hunted down. The director did not grasp enough, so that these plots were not reflected in the way the screenwriter hoped. Digging into the details of the lines of this film, you will find that the plot of the whole film is carefully designed and created, and these events are presented in front of the audience layer by layer, allowing the audience to understand Ava's past and her experience (Her life story). Even such an ambitious script to explore the female killer Ava ends up falling into the clichés, and sometimes it even leaves you scratching your head and not understanding what you are talking about now. So the director of this film is really a big problem.

In addition to this, the script, although ingenious, still lacks. Many plots could actually be handled better and better. Like character relationships (Old Killer and Ava), I think the writers can handle it better than just drinking and getting drunk and killing Simon for revenge. There is also the death of the old killer. In fact, it can be written better, highlighting the difference between the old killer's treatment of Simon and Ava, and the fate of these two apprentices due to their different personalities. And how did Simon have the ability to become the old killer's superior? I feel that the portrayal is not complete enough, and the screenwriter just focuses on the small details of the characters.

how to say? The opening paragraph still has the feeling of a killer spy movie. The more I look back, the more I feel that this is about Ava's life. Not just Ava's killer life. If you think of it as an action movie, when you watch a fight, you think it's an "artistic movie" in action movies

What Ava is talking about is not the first female killer of a cool organization, but a girl who grew up in a family that lacks love, and at the same time she is willing to fall, and she is not as ruthless as the killer... How to say, Women is complicated, and Ava's life too .

ps. Personally, I think it might be better to write a long and detailed script into an American drama and become the next "Nikita".
