wonderful story

It's a very old film. I still remember that it was late at night when I watched it. I really stayed up all night to watch it. After watching it, I have a lot of aftertaste. Everyone's portrayal is very vivid, everyone is a suspect, and everyone seems so innocent. Brain-burning, the final outcome is also unexpected, the many contradictions between human feelings and legal disputes, and the lynching and revenge under the unsound rule of law. What a wonderful story, worthy of being a classic movie?

Even with so many details cut out from Granny's book, the adapted movie still feels too complicated. But I think this level of adaptation is really successful. In addition to the old drama bones, the scene where the train starts and returns to the "civilized world" after the snow is finally cleared is also amazing.

If so many people tried their best to kill me, I would kill myself. . .
