The director is too bad, the performance is to make up

One star for the director and three stars for the actor.

The most outstanding performance of the whole film is the performance of the three actors, the Dutch brother Pattinson and the fourth sister, each with their own characteristics. (Others are not as good as they imagined)

The fourth sister is really handsome. It hurts that he becomes manic because of his wife, but it is also very frustrating when he abuses his son.

Pattinson plays very well. The role itself is actually very easy to shine. With his mature acting skills, it is easy to control. The tone of voice is also excellent. Although Pattinson is handsome, the priest looks really greasy.

I am very surprised by the acting skills of the younger brother Holland. He has always played a very sunny role, and this role does not have any traces of his previous roles. Personally, I think this role is difficult to interpret, and other actors should screw it up. Alvin is very aggressive. He is gloomy but also caring about his family. Most of the time, he is silent and not good at expressing his emotions, but he plays very delicately. Even if there is no shouting "subversion", he is still full. Field best. The treatment at the end btw is also very interesting.

The most touching scene in the whole film is the confrontation between Holland's brother and Pattinson.

But the most fundamental problem is the script. There are too many branch lines but they are not willing to choose. As a result, each branch line is only superficial, and each branch line is not dig deep. Being able to change a potential story into the current account is another realm.

The editing is very fragmented, the narration is redundant, and the dramatic conflict is not filmed effectively. It is all supported by the actors.

The quality of the picture is still pretty good. I read reports that it was shot on film, but I didn’t feel the need to shoot with film, and the music was inexplicably inconsistent with the picture.

In general, the director is holding back.
