#"The Martyr"?
The word martyr is also translated as deadly saint, martyr, from the Greek martys (originally meaning witness, witness). In Acts 22:20 and Revelation 2:13, it is further extended that all those who believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and the resurrected Savior and who bear witness to this faith and suffer and martyr are called martyrs.
"The Truman World" made me feel an attitude that fits my life very well. The Truman spirit is what I pursue as an example. And the nineteenth movie "The Martyr" I watched this year was the one that surprised me the most and excited me the most.
It did not use a rich enough plot to attract the audience, it only gave one situation one by one, like combining extreme, blood, violence, abuse, redemption, madness, and death to hit Anna and Lucy , it doesn't matter what kind of core the audience chooses, the director is looking at what he wants to see, looking for what he is looking for, what happens when a person reaches extreme madness? What's behind death? I have always thought that art is private, and that his work is only for the person who created it, no one else, no rules. "The Martyrs" is a work of art in my opinion. It's a work of art and enough to make me like it. I've always wondered what death is like, but the death felt in the middle is only real when the end result is real death, which is exactly what happened in The Martyrs.
In the whole movie, Lucy and Anna have never expressed their feelings directly, and there is no despair, fear, or guilt, but the viewers can be firmly locked in that atmosphere. The two leading actors are really amazing, and the eyes in their close-up alone can make people feel empathy. I don't know how the film is shot, but there are some clips that I saw for the first time, and the "flash" memory technique is the best used in all the works I've seen so far. Yes, even without a rich plot, its narrative is still vivid. I think a story-based movie will make me feel more shock. Of course, shock also contains many aspects, and like "The Martyr", it is excitement and enjoyment, because I feel the charm as a work.
The abused person, the abuser, the innocent child, the main actor and the supporting actor are all kicked into the dirt pit as a corpse as if saying "people, it is not a noble thing.". Anna became fearless after letting go of everything. She felt nothingness, what was it like after seeing death, what was it like? There are only six words left at the end of the movie-"Endless doubts", I don't know what message the director wants to leave. In my opinion, it is more like a satire, satirical person or himself.
