Actually, I don't quite understand the logic of this movie.
For example, the Pope's handling of the nun who did bad things in Africa. "You didn't condone her, and you didn't directly use your power to dismiss her. You chose to pray to God (in the end, she was punished), so you are a saint!"

After watching the whole drama, I just feel that the Pope is really a very contradictory person. I don't quite understand why a person who can see through the intentions and experiences of everyone around him has such an extreme understanding of doctrine, does not know tolerance, and is unwilling to compromise, so I even thought he was an undercover agent trying to bring down the church. And for the double standard of the homosexual behavior of the young man who jumped off the building and his cronies, do you want to insist that he has changed? All right.
Hopefully I have these problems only because of my lack of understanding of Catholicism.
